What do we do? Within the time constraints due to work, we are not sitting on our hands! Here are some of the initiatives we have put in place:
- Collaboration with the National Civil Defense for Emergency Communications exercises in the territory, both at the provincial and national levels
- Courses for passing the exam to obtain the Amateur Radio license
- Radio assistance in various sports and informational events
- We obtained a special radio station call sign assigned by the Ministry of Economic Development: IQ2XH
- “Pleasure outings” at amateur radio fairs
- Dissemination courses with the collaboration of the Italian Radio Amateurs Association
- Hands-on learning sessions on radio propagation, satellite communication, digital broadcasting
- Finally, we are working to organize a “fox hunt” to find hidden transceivers (ARDF for friends)…stay tuned! (in every sense of the word)
..and so on.
