What do we do

What do we do? Within the time constraints due to work, we are not sitting on our hands! Here are some of the initiatives we have put in place:

  • Collaboration with the National Civil Defense for Emergency Communications exercises in the territory, both at the provincial and national levels
  • Courses for passing the exam to obtain the Amateur Radio license
  • Radio assistance in various sports and informational events
  • We obtained a special radio station call sign assigned by the Ministry of Economic Development: IQ2XH
  • “Pleasure outings” at amateur radio fairs
  • Dissemination courses with the collaboration of the Italian Radio Amateurs Association
  • Hands-on learning sessions on radio propagation, satellite communication, digital broadcasting
  • Finally, we are working to organize a “fox hunt” to find hidden transceivers (ARDF for friends)…stay tuned! (in every sense of the word)

..and so on.

The Club meets on Tuesday evenings at the Azalee Room of the JRC ClubHouse, 329 Via Esperia, 21027 Ispra, from 6 to 10 p.m. Contact us if you would like to come and visit!
